Reason #137 - Brady Quinn

Quarterback Brady Quinn signed a five-year contract for $20.2 million. All that money, and at least half of his home games each year will be played in weather not fit for a passing attack. A dome is like an offensive line - the quarterback needs both in this city.

Reason #136 - Russell Branyan Part 3

Russell Branyan played only one game at Triple-A Buffalo (I saw him strike out three times in person) and he's already been traded to Philadelphia. Swing-and-a-miss hitters don't stay very long, but, thankfully, domes last for decades.

Reason #135 - Russell Branyan Part 2

I saw Russell Branyan in his debut with the AAA Buffalo Bisons tonight, and he struck out three times. Some things never change. But some things can and should be improved - like adding a roof to a great ballpark in a cold-weather city.

Reason #134 - Russell Branyan?

I know I have missed a couple of days, but I'm back and can't believe what I'm about to write. The Indians have signed Russell Branyan to a contract. A retractable roof doesn't seem so crazy now, does it?
