Reason #156 - Makeup Games

Tonight's game against Seattle is a makeup from the April 6-9 snowout at Jacobs Field. The final makeup game is scheduled to be played in Seattle on September 26. That's right, it will take us more than five months to make up one four-game series.

It's been said that summer is "orange barrel season" in Cleveland, and judging from the noise outside my window, it should also be called the "relentless drilling season." How about if we make winter a season for building a roof over Jacobs Field and spring for building a roof over Cleveland Browns Stadium?

Reason #152 - Naming Rights

The re-naming rights to Jacobs Field are available, but there have been no takers. Perhaps some local company would be willing to pay $100 million or more for the rights to name a dome, even if the ballpark name stays the same. How about the KeyBank Home Loan Dome? Or the Cleveland Clinic Open MRI Retractable Roof?
