With the Browns virtually eliminated from respectability contention, I have to think about baseball season. Only five more months until the Indians are back - and playing through the sleet at Progressive Field.

Reason #393 - Brady Quinn

Tonight's Browns' game is Brady Quinn's first career start. He was very successful under the Golden Dome at Notre Dame. Think what a roof in Cleveland could do for him!

Reason #392 - Campaign Slogans

Barack Obama rode "Yes we can" to the presidency. How about if we use "Put a lid on it" for our stadiums? It should be Issue 1 on next year's ballot.

Reason #391 - All-Star Games

The Cowboys' new roof-ed football facility will host the 2010 NBA All-Star Game. Seating capacity will be more than 100,000. Regular arenas that seat 20,000 have no chance anymore, and neither do cities without roof-ed venues. Thank you to faithful reader Steve Weintraub, who's on the ground for me in Texas, for bringing this to my attention.
