Reason #227 - NFL Playoffs

The Browns insist they're playing with a new sense of confidence. But are they better, and maybe even playoff-worthy? We'll find out Sunday. If playoffs are a consistent part of their future, then we need a roof on Cleveland Browns Stadium - for those AFC Championship Games in frigid January.

Reason #226 - Wasted Space in the Off-Season

Jacobs Field is lit up brillantly tonight - for no apparent reason. It looks great, but it's also a reminder how useless the facility is in the offseason. It's just wasting space right now - just like it's wasting energy by having the lights on.

Reason #225 - Covering For Us

Major League Baseball is considering using limited instant replay next season. Close home run calls are apparently now too important to be left to the human eye. Technology is beginning to "cover for us" in so many ways. Why not cover our stadiums so the games can be enjoyed no matter what the weather?

Reason #224 - Cheat Happens

Now, the New England Patriots are accusing the Indianapolis Colts of cheating - allegedly adding distracting noise to the RCA Dome's sound system so opposing teams can't call their plays. The Patriots blame the dome for adding to the noise problem. As the Patriots should know by now, everyone "cheats" to gain an advantage. But no one should blame the dome.

Reason #223 - Good Luck Charm

I think this blog is bringing good luck - and, eventually, a roof - locally. Our Cleveland teams have been winning since I started these daily postings in April 2007. And, now this: Yesterday, I posted Reason #222. Last night's Pick 3 lottery number was 2-2-2. Get on the bandwagon!

Reason #222 - Football Continues

After today, the Browns have three more home football games and the high school playoffs are just starting. A roof-ed stadium would look pretty good right about now.
