Reason #242 - December Games

If the NFL season ended today, the Browns would be in the playoffs, as a wild-card team. And, if the season ended today, the Browns would finish the year with no games played in the snow and ice. Of course, there are five regular-season games left - and a lot can happen in the standings and the weather in December.

Reason #240 - LeBron James

LeBron James is by far Cleveland's biggest sports star. No Indians or Browns player even comes close. Maybe it's the roof that makes LeBron look so good.

Reason #238 - Thanksgiving Day NFL Games

Thursday's NFL games are being played in Detroit (a dome), Atlanta (a dome, against another dome team), and Dallas (warm weather, soon getting a dome). Wouldn't it be nice to have a Thanksgiving Day home game in Cleveland?

Reason #237 - The Truth Is...

The Baltimore Ravens still dispute the field goal that tied Sunday's game against the Browns. Ravens, you can't handle the truth. But we can - it WAS good, and, let's admit it, we NEED a roof more than any breaks we get on the field.

Reason #236 - Destiny

Since I started this blog as a result of the spring 2007 snowstorm, the Cavs, Indians and Ohio State have all won something, and even the Browns may get a wild card. We are a city of destiny, and we have teams of destiny. We will win, eventually, because it is our destiny - just like having a roof.
