Reason #273 - Lakefront Property

The Browns are out of the playoffs and Cleveland Browns Stadium is out of action until next August. We're wasting prime lakefront property except for 10 days a year.

The Browns have won seven home games in a season for the first time in their history. A dome would extend, not negate, the advantage.

The Browns' playoff hopes hinge on the Colts beating the Titans this weekend. That's right, a dome team playing at home in its dome will decide whether the Browns make the playoffs. Domes matter, especially in Cleveland.

Detroit is hosting the Motor City Bowl tonight. Attendance is about 60,000. What a positive that would be for Cleveland! Welcome to the inaugural Rock 'n' Roll Bowl!

Reason #268 - Super Bowl Hosting

Detroit and Minneapolis, with their domes, are the only cities north of Georgia, Texas and California to ever host a Super Bowl. Indianpolis and St. Louis domes hope to lure the big game someday. Why not Cleveland? We would be great hosts - but they won't come unless we have a roof.
