Reason #286 - Reliability

LeBron James got a ticket for driving 101 mph. Twenty-three-year-olds make those kinds of mistakes, and sometimes they hurt themselves and others as a result. Domes of any age - newborns, teenagers and 23-year-olds - are much more reliable.

Reason #285 - Roofs in Boston and Green Bay

The AFC and NFC Championships will be played in the two coldest venues in the NFL - Boston and Green Bay. The forecast is for temperatures in the teens. They need roofs too.

Reason #284 - Home Playoff Games, Eventually

Sure, Green Bay had a playoff game today in heavy snow. But that doesn't mean we don't need a roof. Maybe we could make a better case if we had some occasional home playoff games.

Reason #282 - Indians Giveaways

The Indians' giveaway for April 12 is a stocking hat and the giveaway for May 10 is a fleece blanket. That's spring in Cleveland, where a roof over our heads would be more beneficial than a hat or a blanket.

I'm doing my Indians ticket draft tomorrow. Normally, everybody loves a home opener. But March 31 in Cleveland? Congratulations, you've just signed up for frostbite, much like someone might make a hotel reservation.

Reason #280 - Columbus Too

Forget Cleveland - maybe Columbus needs a dome for the Buckeyes, so they're ready for the Sugar Bowl or other major bowl game in perfect weather. Perhaps we have the beginnings here of a statewide ballot issue.
