Reason #375 - High Prices for Everything
This is reason 375 and today I paid $3.75 per gallon of gas. Ironic, huh? Here's hoping I don't have to come up with 800 or 1,000 reasons - we can't afford it. Stop the madness; let's get serious about a roof.

Reason #374 - Tradition and the Future
This week, the Indians are playing their last series in Yankee Stadium, which is being replaced by a new $1.3 billion ballpark. The roof-less stadium and the franchise have a storied tradition, and better weather. Therefore, they don't need a roof to secure their future. But a roof could sure help ours.

Reason #373 - Winning at Home
The Indians wasted their latest homestand with a 4-5 record. So much for a home field advantage. All other things being equal, roof/dome teams always seem to have an advantage because they don't lose games to weather, they don't get too hot or cold, and they avoid wind-blown home runs and missed pop-ups.

Reason #372 - Indians Struggling
The Indians' offense is inept. There are two possible explanations - the team is MUCH WORSE than we thought or the weather has been just too cold, wet and unpredictable for them to get comfortable. I know which one I hope is correct, and if it is, a roof will fix the problem.

Reason #371 - Award-Winning Ballpark
An online survey of fans by Sports Illustrated named Progressive Field as the #1 ballpark in the MLB. It's great - and could be even better with a roof.

Reason #370 - Stop Blaming the Cold Weather
The Indians offense is weak. Some are blaming the cold weather. If true, that would be good news. If it turns out, however, that the team is not as good as expected, it could be a long summer, no matter what the temperature. If we had a roof, we'd know for sure if the problem is the weather or the team.

Reason #369 - Monday's Forecast
The Indians have played 25 games so far this year, and, still, the forecast for Monday night includes a wind chill number - 38 degrees.
